I was so excited to find this site. My whole family on my mother's side is from Maine. I am looking for Jose Farrington. I can find no records of her. She was my GG grandmother. She was the Daughter of Gilman Farrington and married Frank Dyer. Although anything on this line would be helpful.

Josie E. Farrington was born about 1864, the daughter of Gilman C. and Abigail Ann (Walton) Farrington. Frank B. and Josie E. Dyer were living in Livermore in 1900:

The census says that they had married about 1883, and that Josie was born Apr. 1865. The 1903-4 East Livermore and Livermore Register says that Frank was then living without his wife:

The 1910 census for Livermore also says that Frank was living without his wife:

A Josie E. Dyer died 11 Aug. 1905, probably in Portland, aged 46:

Ancestry.com has a copy of this death record, which may show whether this was the same Josie E. Dyer.

I don't have Ancestry so I can't see the record. I do know she was young when she died. My G grandmother was just a kid of about 5. Ty so much for the work you did for me. I did not relize Frank lived on his own without her before she died.

Thanks, Ben. Wrong Josie.

There is 1 (ancestry) tree that has her death in 1901, But nothing to verify that?

Nothing that I have found.

Well, If I'm Right about Frank? He should be the son of Parmenus Dyer?  A Doctor of some sort, and political as well. If Frank is the person I'm thinking is her ancestor? there are many clues for her to gather further research, with the exception of Josie/Josephine. Which I can't seem to find, other than the census records recorded above..

Yes, 1901,that's correct. Alsp Frank son of Parmenus was her husband. The 1905 was wrong :(

You may want a copy of this then?

YES,TY so very much.If you found  Josie's I think I'd jump through the screen and kiss you,Ben lol.
