Harriett Maria (Noyes) Bush Diary For Sale on eBay

Someone is selling on eBay the 1859 diary of Harriett Maria (Noyes) Bush of Waterville.

This auction is for an AMAZING 152 YEAR OLD handwritten antique diary / journal /  manuscript book - It was written just two years prior to the American Civil War, by a young woman by the name of HARRIETT MARIA NOYES - BUSH (born March 25, 1828, died 1890) and she lived in WATERVILLE, Kennebec County, MAINE.

She married John Bush on August 11, 1851, and they eventually had five children, all except one living to adulthood.

Their children were:
Lillian Wayne (b. 1852) ~ Lizzie Noyes (b. 1854) ~
Alice Harriet (b. April 9, 1856, d. April 12, 1856) ~
Jonathan Francis (b. 1857) ~ George Southwick (b. 1861).

John and Harriett Noyes Bush are buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterville, Maine. She died in 1890, and John died in 1902.
