hi im ed from maine looking for the parents  of john p.shepherd who married a abigail b.lord in brooksville maine in 1828.she was the daughter of olive stover and john p.lord of hancock maine.is he a john shepherd born in jefferson ,lincoln co.maine in 1798?son of william shepherd and lucy brown married in jefferson in 1787 .william's father was james shepherd from mass and lydia guliver.also the schooner john p.was lost on, the schooner susan elizabeth, (he was lost aprox.1848 at sea)was owened by hie wife's parents a john lord and the stover family. ed mccarren mccarren.family@yahoo.comany have info on these people
