Maine Female Brick Wall
Searching Annie M. True b. c.1845 Oxford County, perhaps Dixfield (on death cert.) but I can find no reference to her until her marriage and birth of my grandmother Bertha Tilton in MA in1880. Above cert. says her father Thomas True b. in England. Grateful for any ideas on how to pursue this problem.

Did you ask the Hampstead clerk to check marriage records? If William and Annie did marry, there might be at least a record of their intentions filed there.

No I didn't..............but will do so .I did just check again marriage record of Annie and Oscar which shows this as first marriage for her with no parents , just that she was 25 and born in Maine.
