John Blagdon was the tithing man for the first meeting house in Pownalborough in 1756.  His brother Charles also lived in the area.  They both show on the 1766 household inventory mandated by the then Governor of Massachusetts.

Does anyone know anything about either of these men?   I know a Charles Blagdon of Pownalborough served a short while as a carpenter in the Amer. Rev. buidling Fort George after having been recruited by the British as someone capable of helping to build the fort.

Any further information would be welcome.   Thank you.
