I go back to John Libby as well through his son John Libby (2x) of Scarborough
Also Francis Small (3x) and his sons Samuel and Daniel of Kittery
Captain George Strout of Cape Elizabeth son of Christopher Strout (2x)
Abraham Tyler of Frankfort
Hi Terrie,
I also have Captain George Strout in my line. Do you have the DEATH RECORD of George's wife BRIDGET (widow of Gervis Coley)?
Do you know WHEN George moved from Truro or Provincetown to Cape Elizabeth? Have you found any LAND DEEDS?
I'm also searching for the BIRTH RECORD of their last daughter, SARAH STROUT b. abt 1735/36 in ? Falmouth, Maine. Sarah Strout married #1 John YORK between 1747 and 1748 in ? Falmouth, when she was abt. 12 years old. Sarah Strout York married #2 Israel THORN from Pearsontown/Standish abt. 1772. I have not been able to find a Death Record for Sarah Strout York Thorn either.
I am trying to determine if Sarah Strout was the "biological" child of George and Bridget Strout, or if she was a child who was "taken into" the family.
Any information that you can provide will be GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!
Thank you, Pauline

Where is Mary Gordon from? I am Descended from Alexander Gordon from Exeter, New Hamphire and have a His of the the family. The Trafton family I have some information on Thaddeus's other brothers and descendants in Maine especially the ones that go to Georgetown, Maine and marry into the Spinney, Campbell, Oliver, Rogers, McCobb, Hinckley, and Stinson families.

I am a descendant from Thomas Spinney and Spinney lines tangled with Waterhouses and Libby multiple times as well as Fernalds early on.

Gordon family is unknown, except for what is in the old history of Thomaston & St Georges Lower Town. John Thompson b 1730 Londonderry NH md Mary Gordon (in Maine?) and were in Maine before 1760. Son Ebenezer 1760 ME also md a Mary Gordon acc to that book.
