Wow! I can't believe more people haen't joined this group. Not just the French were in Maine so lets get to typing here. I know I haven't done any genealogy work since Thanksgiving either but its now back to work ,Happy New Year everyone.
My german ancestors came from Germany and were the names above. I do have alot of information but not at my disposal at the moment. I would love to chat with anybody who are from these surnames. Maybe we can help each other.Although my ancestors came from Germany and they went to Pa. then before the war they moved to New Brunswick, Canads and Nova Scotia. Some did settle in Mass.and Maine. My name is Judy Davis and nee smith and was born in Maine.
