I decend from two groups who were captured during the Cromwell era wars in England- The Grays captured after the Battle of Dunbar and the McKenneys captured after the Battle of Worcester. They were both transported to Boston to serve their sentences at the mills and mines then settled north on the Fernando Gorges Patent in the District of Maine that would be granted to belonged to James II Stuart by his brother King Charles II. I could use some help with family information both from Scotland and during the difficult French-indian conflicts. Im particularily looking for the family of Pheobe Gray b 1719, md Dominicus Jordan in or near Falmouth/Spurwick/Cape Elizabeth in 1740. In next(?)  generation, Henry II Mckenney at Black Point (Scarboro) as possible father to Anna Nancy McKenney b. Pejebscot Claim.md John Gray Jordan at Cape Elizabeth.

Thanks

Bertie
