Permalink Reply by Betsy Fosburgh on January 26, 2012 at 10:11pm Hi, When did your William Black come to New England/Maine? I'm chasing a Marjorie/Margery Black who may have married a William Smith or Gowen. He is descendant of the Scots who came as British Prisoners of Cromwell. Anyway, good hunting!

James Hennigar Black moved to Maine in the 1880's or 90's and is buried in Winthrop Maine. He was a veterinarian.
