Trying to find information on Ferdinand Nilson, born in Sweden, married Minnie Brown from MDI in the late 1800's. From stories I remember he could have been lost at sea. Any comments, help. Thanks Bill

Found this on a message board. I have been told that my grandfather has a relationship to Jenny Lind. His name was Ferdinand Nilson, bn 1869 in Sweden, died in 1907 in a shipwreck. He emigrated to the U.S. between 1875-1888, and lived on Mt. Desert, Me., where my father, Lawrence Nilson, was born. I have very little info on my father's side of the family, and anything would be most appreciated. I am told the family name was spelled Nilsson in Sweden.
