I notice there two Isaac Cummings with the same death date. There is this one and Isaac Cummings buried with Elizabeth in Highland Cemetery

Yes, Isaac has two stones. He died in Bethel, so it's possible that he was buried here first and then removed to Poland. Or they may have erected a second stone in Poland after his wife's death and left his remains in Bryant Pond.

Another clue -- Isaac Cummings' stone in the Bryant Cemetery in Woodstock looks like a VA stone.  If so, it was not placed there at the time of his death.  It would have been placed many years later, maybe as a replacement stone for the original, or maybe it was placed by a descendant who didn't really know where he was buried, and just thought the Woodstock cemetery was the most likely spot.  VA stones of old-time veterans need to be viewed with extra caution, since they are not contemporaneous with the death.  Errors of information and placement are common.

That's true. And his dates of birth and death were obviously added after the fact.

I've uploaded a photograph of Isaac's gravestone in West Poland here.
