Maine Civil War books

I am wondering if anyone knows how to get a copy of David A. Cyr's  "Henry Granville: A Civil War Soldier from Maine."  There was a story about Henry Granville and the book on the Bangor Daily News Blog - Maine At War.  It sounds like a great book and I would love to get a copy.  Thanks to anyone who can provide info in advance.  Bobbie :-)See More

Yarmouth, Maine Cemeteries

I was wondering if anyone has the cemetery listings for Yarmouth, Maine.  I am looking for the grave of Dr. George Morris Twitchell who died in 1934.  He married Florence Allen of Yarmouth, her father being Matthias Allen.  His obituary just said he was buried in Yarmouth and did not give the name of the cemetery.  Anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.  Bobbie M. A Confederate Yankee

I find it funny how things come full circle sometimes when doing research. I have been, for more years than I care to admit, researching the 7th Maine Regiment in hopes of doing a book on them. I came across a reference where Captain John Channing of Fairfield meets up with an old friend from Maine named Edward Drummond and who is serving with the Confederate army during the Peninsula Campaign. Today, I came across a book review from The Civil War News website…

Glad you liked the photo.. I think my grandfather is the second guy from the far right, although tough to tell its so small. My great grandfather and a number of other ancestors would have worked there at the same time.
