I came across some Howes in the Rumford area.. Rufus B. Howe son of John Howe and Nancy Kimball, He was b 28 June 1829 in No Rumford, Me ;d 1883 Richmond, Me.
Rufus married Cordelia Silver b 11 Jan 1833.

Then another branch of Howes..Silence Moore married Silas Howe b 19 Jun 1758 in Bolton, MA( Worcester area) son of Phineas Howe and Experience Wheeler. Silas was b 1760 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA and d in Rumford, Me. Go to World Connect Project: Rumford, Oxford, Maine Genealogy Project.. My line is the Moore line and Goss family.
