Growing up on the Back Ridge Rd in E Orland, ME, I lived during the 50 &60's with my family of Gross's. The country farming & millworkers were quite a large world to the 6 year old kid. Susan Allbaugh said… I do not have all of the names of Savage Bolton's children. I do have birthdates for a lot of them that I learned through Martha Ballard's diary. I do show that he had a son on 4 March 1790 so now I know that Elisha was that son.
Martha Ballard mentions a Studley Springer on 8 Jan. 1785 and that Mrs. Springer had a daughter on 9 Jan. 1785. She mentions other Springers in her diary. If you are not familiar with Mrs. Ballard's diary, you can search it online at http://dohistory.org/.
