"I believe it reads "Iron Bound Island." Ironbound Island is now part of the town of Winter Harbor, but before 1895 belonged to Gouldsboro. Here is a brief history."

Elizabeth Littlefield, wife of Lemuel Weeks Crabtree

Elizabeth Littlefield is said to have married Lemuel Weeks Crabtree 31 January 1805. Intentions were recorded 2 October 1804 in Gouldsboro, at which time Lemuel Crabtree was living in Sullivan. He is said to have been born in 1784 and to have died in 1837. Elizabeth Littlefield Crabtree is said to have been born 17 March 1782 and to have died Hancock, ME,  9 February 1872.
