Robert Russell

So I found Robert's death certificate for Maine, at least i think it's his. It says his father was born in Scotland, I found only one census that backs this up, all the others say birth and N. B. Canada. I'm apt to believe he was born in Scotland since I have found no record circa 1790 for his birth in Canada.  Francis remains a Mystery but, on the brighter side have found loads of info on my father's family. Any suggestions for solving Francis Russell?See More

Roberts Father

Seems like roberts father may not nbe francis russell although all the first names fit Margarets maiden name was Stuart not MacDonald as seen in the books about the early founding of the Miramichi Valley. So now I'm stumped !?????????????????? still more questions than answers.

Robert and Margaret Russell

OK so Harvey R Russell's marriage registers his fathers Birthplace as Miramichi N.B. Canada and says margaret born there as well but Fisher Angus Russell record of birth register's Margarets birthplaces as Papan Canada. Where would Papan be? is that PEI or glenelg parrish along the coast?
