Maine babies were put where everyone could see and keep their eyes on them, and they could see people, especially Mom, Dad or Siblings, or all of the above. This was so precious. Taken somewhere in the Brunswick area.

I would start at the City Hall there, and they could tell you who to contact, or if they have them. Oak Grove Cemetery where a lot of my relatives are buried is the biggest one in town, there are several small old ones around also. High St. Cemetery…

We have relatives that died in Gardiner but have not located their graves.  Do you know how to obtain cemertery records, who has them.  I'm looking for records of graves in the 1850's

These are neat. I have a lot of older clippings of individuals, town doings, obits, accidents, weddings, etc. to share and this looks like a neat way to share them. Maybe someone can find a relative among them. Thanks for sharing these.

The Levi Moore I saw on the tree was married to Mercy Hildreth as well.   His father's name was also Levi and his mother's was name was Rebecca.  I guess I should have mentioned that earlier. :) Troy

Thanks Troy, I don't think this info helps me. My Levi Moore was married to Mercy Hildreth as I have found numerable places. So am sure of this much. As I said, I have her line back, but can't find his parents so I can trace that line.…

Hi Lorelie, thanks so much for the connection. The particular Charles Emery Im searching for appears to be my great great grandmothers 2nd husband, and father to my great grandmother. He would have been born sometime in the mid 1800's I suspect. Somewhere I read that his father was born in England, but as I'm learning through this journey, we're all connected somewhere. There are a number of Kimballs in my region of western Maine, so if I can ever return the favor, please don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy your pictures of the Brunswick area as well, as my father in law has a camp on Bailey's Island and we travel through there often. Regards, Troy

As my profile says I am also looking for Kimballs. I believe I have a pretty good line back to Richard but with some spaces to be filed in. I know they went from Rochester NH to Berwick then to Hermon, I'm just trying to find out how many did...I have a lot of names to connect. If you have any in those comunities let me know, maybe I will have some info for you. I don't have any in the Gardiner area that I know of. Good Luck! Ward
