My mother Rose Alma Hall (b. 1896) in Mount Vernon and went first to the Creasey School and then to another School.  I would like to find school records, and teachers names and how long they taught for that time period.   Also, the name and location of the second school.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  I don't even know where to start!See More

Henry Copp

My grandmother's  adopted brother Henry C Copp was born approximately 1870 something.  We have no idea whether or not he was legally adopted or just raised by my g grandparents.  Their names were Emma Jane Stevens and Nathan Wesley Copp.  They lived in Mt Vernon, Kennebec, Maine,USA.  They lived at Wings Mills, Maine.  Thanks, Mary EllenSee More

Thomas Skillings

I am told that Thomas Skillings was descended from a Thomas Skillings born in Aryshire, Scotland in the 1500s .  I am descended from him.  I believe his grandson immigrated to America in the 1600s.  There were 4 Thomas's in a row so the genealogy is all mixed up.  Does anyone have any info on the Skillings family in Maine?  Thanks, Mary EllenSee More
