"I THINK you can find some useful information in the "History of Litchfield, Maine", published in 1885.  It has a section on the Lowell family beginning on page 208.  A direct link to that page is Lowell Family."

WWII

My father, George F. Mulherin, was stationed at Bryan, Texas during WWII. He also was at Utah and New Jersey. I have loads of pics from Bryan, Texas (I have two of their year books.) He was a photographer and took loads of photos. If you know someone who was at Bryan and want me to look them up - just let me know!

Organizing my research info

Each winter I spend a lot more time doing genealogy research than at any other time, and this year I am putting together a list of the resource material that I have in my files. It isn't much, but I will share it with you. It isn't very long but as I go along with cleaning out my files, I may be adding more info and will update it. If anyone is interested in additional information regarding these titles, just let me know and I will send you what you need.

Have just joined Maine Genealogy Network and found your material on the Lowells and Mulherins of Lee. For many years, I have collected materials on local history and families of Lincoln, Lee, Winn, Springfield, Carroll Plt,, Burlington, Lowell, Chester, Winn, etc. From 1982-1984 I published a magazine entitled THE MATTANAWCOOK OBSERVER containing information on this area.  Now newly retired after 42 years in education, am going back to this work and may even do another MATTANAWCOOK OBSERVER series. Would be interested in knowing if you might have information for an article or articles.
