"Ruth I don't know if this helps but the Roe & Colby Atlas of 1877 shows an Alexander Henderson as a property owner in Linneus (r6 Lot 19) so they may have resided in Linneus. There are still Hendersons living in Linneus. "

Henderson Family, Linneus, ME

I am researching my g grandfather Alexander Henderson. He immigrated from Ireland in approx 1861 and according to my mother's notes resided in Massachusetts prior to Maine. He married Ann Elizabeth Cripps in 1866 in Linneus. They resided in Houlton after marriage. I can find no record of him prior to the 1870 census.Any help would be appreciated.See More
