Comeau Genealogy

Thanks to Ben for the phone number of Ted Comeau.  I called him last week and we had a good conversation.  He spent 30 years with the marines and was sationed in Hawaii.  When I gave him the names of our relatives he said I was correct.  It was so good to be able to talk to him.  My mother would have been so happy if she were still with us. She never knew that she had cousins on her mother's side of the family as she was placed in an orphanage at an early age and adopted. Ted would be her…See More

Comeau

I am currently working on my Comeau line.  They came from New Brunswick to the Lewiston area and then Lisbon. My granduncle was Angus Luc Comeau (born Auguste Luc according to the 1891 Can. census). His parents were Luke (Luc?) Comeau and Virginie Caissie.  He married Sophie Waquier(changed to Walker in US).  They had 3 children; Joan Rose, and Theodore. Joan married Rosario Joseph Croteau May 3, 1947. It was his second marriage, her first.  I believe she is still living today at the age of…
