Profile Information

What Maine surnames are you researching?
Hanscom, Merrill
What locations in Maine are you researching?
Kittery, Eliot, Lee, Litchfield
My grandmother on my mothers side was Florence Hanscom of Lee Maine. I have my complete line back to Thomas Hanscom of Kittery(1650) and Nathaniel Merrill of Newbury Massachusetts(1638). I am always looking for more information about both families. Ive been to Eliot and would like to find more about where Thomas really came from, where his house was actually located, and where were many of my descendants buried. I know I may never find any of this but I love the challenge. Im a big history fan and during my research have retained alot of knowledge about other Maine families as well so I may be able to help others with their searches.
