Just found out last week my 7x great uncle Thomas Curtis was in the Candelmas Massacre.

I had no Idea, can you imagine a forced march to Canada of 300 people, with some dying along the way. People being killed in there homes and their homes distroyed. Oh my, it was a very wild place, not all what we learned about history books in school and what a nice meal our ancesters had with the friendly Natives. That is not to say at all that the Natives of this land were treated well by either.
