Abigail Baker married Liberty Richards in August of 1835 in weld Maine.  One vage reference has her from Hookset, NH.  Does anyone have information on her family?  Bakers show in the town records, but not her.  Appreciate any help.  Charlie

Based on this 1850 census

The Child Silas Richards Death record at familysearch.org States she was born in Hookset, NH.

The Child Almira Richards Death record at familysearcg.org States she was born in Wells, ME.

The Child Mellissa Richards Death record at familysearch.org States she was born in Hookset, NH

Joseph Richards died 6 Jan 1911 in Biddeford, ME and his death record at ancestry.com has both parents born in Maine.

I found 1 tree at Ancestry that suggest that she was remarried to a Alexander H Tilton, but I think this to be incorrect? Based on Alexander and Abigail's Obituaries. They were very prominent persons in the New Hampshire area and no other data links her to Liberty Richards.

This I believe to be the resting place of Liberty Richards and this is his Death record from New Hampshire

She, Abigail Richards did have claim to pension from Liberty Richards service in the Civil War, But I can find nothing else on her after that unless this Death record of Abigail Richards is her?

Hi Ben:  Thank you for the reply.  Abigail did die in Farmington based on all I've found on her.  She may be buried without a grave stone on the old Richards farm with Silas.  I have had no luck in attaching her to a given Baker family though 2 are in the Hookset area around her birth date.  I have a copy of Liberty's pension but it doesnt help.  Liberty is buried in Fredricksburg National Cemetery.  I wrote s short letter to our civil war blog in June that you might be interested in.

Thank you for your time and assistence.   Charlie
