John F. Bryant, Me 5th, Co I - died at Crampton's Gap, MD - 3 days before Antietam

He was my 3rd great grandfather. I've done quite a bit of research, but would love to have a discussion with anyone else who had someone in Company I.

Ms Solberg,

My great grandfather was in the 16th Maine Infantry, Company G.and was wounded in what was then Ridgeville, MD.  It is now Mt. Airy, MD.  I live 8 miles from Crampton's Gap and 30 miles from Mt. Airy.  If I can hlep you in anyway please let me know.  I am from Rumford, Maine.

Ha! Small world. I am from Rangeley! I live in Minnesota now though and don't see myself getting to Crampton's Gap anytime soon. I may ask you to take some pictures of Crampton's Gap when the weather gets better!

Thank you!
