Joseph Roberts and Hannah Young probably married in New Hampshire about 1755,as their son Joseph Roberts, Jr. stated his birth in Brentwood, NH in 1756, on documents ,when he applied for his Revolutionary War pension. However no birth or marriage records have been located..

For year many have searched, various opinions have been put forth, many can easily be disproved with the New Hampshire records available. This was not so when the  work of Amelia Grant was written.

In Maine Joseph can be followed through WIndham, Buckfield and Brooks, Records have been found with Hannah's dower sign off on land transfers , Only the name of a daughter Sarah Young Roberts indicates her maiden name,or possibly her  prior married name although that seems unlikely..

The last record for Joseph is a land transfer where his son Joseph acts as his attorney at law as he is too ill to travel from Brooks. this is dated 1804. His death place can not be documented but is thought to be Buckfield in 1805,with burial in the Lowell Cemetery. There due to stone loss during the WPA, no stone exists.

Looking for documented parents of Joseph and Hannah, Thank you so much for your time and thought.all hints are welcome.
