Regarding the divorce record of Polly S. Rollins and James Rollins, the date in the index was wrong. They married in 1840 and divorced in 1858. Here is the court record (you will have to sign in to or create a FamilySearch account to view it):

If you haven't already, you might look through the probate file of James Rollins for clues:

His eldest son Joshua administered the estate.

Here is Joshua's estate file, which includes his will:

I have attempted to join familysearch.org twice in the past and never receive a confirmation email to complete registration.

I may never find the answer to who were my GGGG Grandmothers Emily Yeaton's parents.

Thank you again for helping

In 1860, "Emily P. Collins," 17, was living in New Sharon in the household of Thomas Yeaton:

Martin Hollick identifies her as Emily Rollins, the niece of Thomas Yeaton:

Joshua and Emily had a daughter Susan E. (called "Emily S." in 1850), born in 1841:

If this is indeed the same Emily, then her mother Emily (Yeaton) Rollins would seem to be the daughter of John and Temperance (Cathcart) Yeaton of New Sharon:

http://mhollick.typepad.com/slovakyankee/2009/08/tombstone-tuesday-...

Susan E Rollins aka Emily S Rollins was my GGG Grandmother Annette F Rollins sister, her legal name was actually Emily Susan and was called by Susa and Suzy as a child, she md Frank Caswell.

I was able to link a Hannah Yeaton to John Yeaton and Temperance Cathcart you mentioned residing in New Sharon. Later I found the children in an old book Emily was not listed there.

I always wondered if she had a different legal name as a child and used Emily later such as Susan did. My grandmother legally was Susan Emily and was always called Emily, I found this name changing to be common back then.

I have copies of the marriage for Joshua Rollins and Emily Yeaton md 17 Mar 1828, indicating place of birth as New Sharon, Me.

I also have Census for 1850-1860-1870 indicated her living as Emily E. Rollins and Annette Frances [My GG Grandmother] is listed with her mother and father all in New Sharon, Me. Emily  did have a sister Hannah who md Seth Rollins- Joshua Rollins brother.

The will of Joshua and his father James was a great find, thank you Chris !
