The last name I teased out from a handwritten death certificate which I will post here on the off chance anyone else can read the handwriting, but near as I can make out the last name is Furbush/Firbush. The death certificate of her son indicates she was born in Maine, various census records put her in New York where she married a Ambrose Hibbard before relocating to Michigan in her middle life, she is buried in Bristol Cemetery with a birthday of July 2, 1805 and this year correlates +/- 1 year with various census records. I don't know when they married though I assume it was somewhere in New York, nor do I know her parents names.

I did find elsewhere that  Buxton, Maine vital records Book 4 page 139 has the family of Elisha Furbish and Dorcus, his wife, children: Jane, Sally, Almira, Anna, John, Martha and James. No dates were recorded. They were married in 1801 so the dates line up. By 1810 Buxton census he has 5 children under the age of 10 and has 10 children in 1820 in Camillus.

The question is is this Almira my Almira? Is there any way to tell?
