Benjamin Norman of New Vineyard, Maine, married Hannah Beal of York Maine in 1825.

On the 1830 census, for New Vineyard, has Benjamin Norman is listed as head of household with one female, aged 20-30 and three females, aged 0-5.

I can find no further reference to Benjamin Norman. Who is he? Who was his family? When did he die?

The book 'The History of the Town of Industry' tells us Benjamin and Hannah had a daughter Julia A about 1832, (perhaps born in Waterville) who married Edward G. Lewis.

The 1850 York census, the 1860 South Berwick census, and the 1870 Fall River census, has several Norman children (Betsy, Sarah, Charles, Benjamin) living with a 'Hannah Atkinson'. Could these be children of Benjamin and Hannah (Beal)? Does anyone have any evidence to prove, or disprove this?
