Wyman Family

Looking for information on Horace Wyman who was born in 1830 and married Mahala Tuttle. They had three children, Melvin b. 1872, William b. circa 1875 and Charles b. 1878.

They lived in Athens, Somerset, Maine from 1864.  Married in Skowhegan, Somerset, Maine.  Horace died of pneumonia May, 1880.  I see a daughter Ada in the 1870 census who was 7 at the time.  1880 census shows Mahala with sons Melvin O. (9)  Wilfred R. (6) and Charles A. (3).

I wonder if your Horace may be kin to my Ida E. Wyman of Skowhegan? Ida was born about 1849 and died about 1927 - she married a man by the name of Joseph Whitney.

 

Your Mahala Tuttle is sister to my George Tuttle :)
