Did this road branch off a short distance south of the Patch Mountain Cemetery? The farm on the left belonged to my great-great-grandparents Edgar and Delilah Morgan. It was first the Joseph Herrick farm, purchased from the proprietors in 1808. The remains of the buildings could still be seen about forty years ago. Edgar's sister Viola Herrick had a cottage next door.
