Lucius Woods' marriage records in 1888 and 1895 also give Lemuel and Elizabeth as his parents. And in 1910, his mother Elizabeth Y. Woods was living with him. Have you found any record of Percival after 1880? And if not, is it possible that he changed his name to Lucius? (Though I see no evidence here that he legally changed his name...)

Lemuel's death record gves his mother's maiden name as Clara Wadlin. In 1850, Lemuel was living with Joseph P. Brainard in Northport, who had married in 1836 "Eley W. Wadlin." Elsie (Wadlin) Brainard, widow of Joseph P., died in Somerville, Mass., in 1898. She was the daughter of John and Catherine (Chadbourne) Wadlin of Castine.

John and Catherine Wadlin also had a daughter Clarissa or Clara, born about 1805, died 1887 in Boston, buried in Somerville. (Here's an alternate death record, recorded in Somerville.) She was the widow of Amos Cummings. Amos Cummings married in 1841 in Boston Clarissa Wood. I believe that she had formerly married William Wood, and that their son Lemuel lived with his aunt and uncle in Northport in 1850.

I am looking for Lemuel H Woods and his brother William. Both born in Belfast around 1834.  I would like to know who their father and mother were and where they came from.  I am assuming that both parents were buried in the Belfast area.  Lemuel and William eventually moved to the Boston, ma area but there is no sign of their parents.
