Cleveland Family in Athens, ME

I am looking for information on Elijah K. Cleveland and his 1st wife Julia G. Devol.  They were married in 1869 in Athens, ME and divorced in 1875.  They had 2 daughters, Cora and Myrita.  I am looking for vital records that show Cora's birth.  State Archives didn't have the records due to a fire in Athens that destroyed them.  I would appreciate any information on this family.  E=mail me at Judith.watt2@gmail.com

Oh and by the Waay, the two cemetaries in Belgrade. The older one at the bottom of the hill is a Quaker Cemetery.. and that is where Quaker Samuel Taylor is buried...about 20 graves there... most up on top of the hill.

HI Judith,

I am searching your same locations but not the same names. If you re looking in Oakland you may also want to look in Belgrade. That seems to be where a lot of Oakland folks are buried. Belgrade has a very old portion of a cemetary, My Taylor relatives re buried there..
I do not recognize any of your names listed but I will look in a record book of Belgrade, ME, if you send me the names.

Jan Taylor Corey.

Hi Judith,

I remember your name, I do think we've talked before. As always, I am perfectly willing to share what I have. And, I am always looking for corrections & updates! Most the information I have on the Williams family comes from documents (census, etc.) and the book called, "Embden, Town of Yore." I now own the book, which is cool. I can scan pages and share, though it is on Ancestry now. Glad to see you again. If you need to email me, write me at pegrowe62@gmail.com!!
