From what I have found so far my husband McKenney line comes from enfield, Georgetown.  I have a Matthew McKenney Sr. who was born in ballymoney, Antrim, Ireland, abt. 1712. Not sure if this helps.

Hi Kevin,
Yes I am desperateley seeking a "Nna" Vahey w/o Frederick Merrill and daughter Bertha M Merrill b Bangor, abt 1886. Bertha was my grandmother. Story goes she died in childbirth with my Mother, Nina and Fred were Bertha's parents. Mom's Dad died when she was 7,she was in boarding school/orphanage. But foster parents ,Goodwins, had big stonehouse close to light house in Cape Elizabeth.I guess she was there part of the summers,my sister thinks the address was #10 Beach Road. House was still there in first half of the 1960's. Mom's dad was Edw J Leighton. His brother Joseph had small house in Cape Eliz

Hello Kevin,
My s/o is Leslie F Farley. He is named after his paternal ggrandfathers. Leslie Mckinney, and Frederick Farlely. Both of what I think is Aroostook Cty,Me. Les McKinney was a farmer.
He only had one leg. His hobby was sulky racing. Les has been to the farms in Maine. The kids used to spend part of the summers there. But that was over 50 years ago.
