Hi Mertie

I enjoyed our phone conversation very much.  My ancester is Suan Sawyer Cole wife of Peter Haskell III  b. 1863-1944.  I don't as of yet now why her middle is Sawyer and am assuming that its because of a connection to the Sawyer Family,  Both this side of the family and the family that adopted me have Stinson family relationships.  We have connections on the adopted side way up to the St John NB

That's ok You didn't need too.  You see my whole family was born and died there too.  You will find your family very well maped out and I you have any question about them just e-mail the Deer Isle Stonington Historical Society and they will tell you everything you would ever need to know I bet.  They most likely have a file and whole box of informatin about your family there.  kk  If I can help you any more just drop me a note.  Some of the Stinsons also can be found in Bath, With is alos Woolwich / Linclon, maine.  In other words Woolwich = Linclon=Arrowsic=  these are all Bath Maine. KK

Some of the Stinsons also came from over in Bath they are part of the same family.

Martha Susan Stinson does not sound familiar, but I'll check my tree.  What year was she born.  There were some Sawyer's on Deer Isle too.

Hi Mertie I am also researching the Stinson Family,   My family mostly come from Deer Isle.  In Deer Isle they have kept trake of there families so here is a link to the cementery's there,  The stinsons lived on Stinsons Neck but they also have family members in Arrowsic, Linclon, Maine.  Here the linclon is the country not the city and is no where neer linclon maine.  Ok.  Arrowsic is now called Bath, Maine.

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~medeeris/Deer_Isle/Cemetery_links.html

here is the cemetery link.  You can also check Dr. Bemjamin Lame Noyes geneaology book,  He listed all thehabitents from the mid 1800's to the mid 1900's,
