Hi, I am now searching for the ancestors of my g.g.grandmother, PHOEBE A. MUNSON b.12-19-1829 Calais, Maine [no Birth Record found yet], m. Lorenzo Dow LINNELL 11-27-1851 in ? ,d.6-30-1900 in Magalloway, Oxford, Maine.
In the book, "History of Wilson's Mills, Maine", Phoebe's parents were listed as ADONIJAH MUNSON and Elizabeth WIRTMAN. I cannot find any record of an Elizabeth Wirtman.

I am interested in learning more about the Willetts , descendents of and relatives of an August Willett of Carabou, married to Hattie Landry . Son, Eugene was married to Velma Oakes and moved to Millinocket.
My mother, Margaret M. Willett (Plaisted) was Eugene and Velma's daughter. Eugene died at 23 right after his death and married a Mathias Hartley. Velma left my mother with August and Hattie in Millinocket to raise.
