Asa Day, Abenaki Day, Caleb Day, Lydia M. Edgecomb


I am researching my Day and Edgecomb Lines from York and Penebscot Counties Maine.  I am also trying to find out an Abenaki grgrgrgrgr grandmothers Native or Christian maiden name as well.  I live on the West Coast so I am unable to get to Maine to do research.  I do have the Day line going back to England, but am stuck on finding out the name of this Abenaki women I am descended from.  Here is what I have and am looking for:

Maine Hubbards in French & Indian Wars and American Revolution

I am directly descended from Capn.Phillip Hubbard and Elizabeth Roberts of Berwick, Me.

Capn. Phillip ubbard served as a Lieutenant in Capn.William Garrish's company during the Lebanon & Saco River Expedition in 1756.  In 1775 he received a commission of Capn. and led a company of Col. MUNSON/WORTMAN Genealogy Research

Hi, I am now searching for the ancestors of my g.g.grandmother, PHOEBE A. MUNSON b.12-19-1829 Calais, Maine [no Birth Record found yet], m. Lorenzo Dow LINNELL 11-27-1851 in ? ,d.6-30-1900 in Magalloway, Oxford, Maine.

In the book, "History of Wilson's Mills, Maine", Phoebe's parents were listed as ADONIJAH MUNSON and Elizabeth WIRTMAN. I cannot find any record of an Elizabeth Wirtman.

I am interested in learning more about the Willetts , descendents of and relatives of an August Willett of Carabou, married to Hattie Landry . Son, Eugene was married to Velma Oakes and moved to Millinocket.

 My mother, Margaret M. Willett (Plaisted) was Eugene and Velma's daughter. Eugene died at 23 right after his death and married  a Mathias Hartley. Velma left my mother with August and Hattie in Millinocket to raise.

Looking for information regarding the White Family


I am just beginning this Genealogy Journey and have recently learned from a published book written by my G.Grandfather, that my branch of the White family originated in Ireland. At present am stymied  around an ancestor that lived within the now Sagadahoc county area and on Vinalhaven/Newhaven Islands.
