Hello. I am researching Jacob Brown (b. 3 Aug 1757 d. 29 Feb 1812), Jacob Brown (b.24 Jul 1720 d. 10 Jan 1789) and Jacob Brown (b. 2 Jun 1693 d. abt 1758). All died in North Yarmouth, Maine. I am trying to find out where they are buried.

Jacob Brown (b. 2 Jun 1693) was married to Mary Woodman (b. 26 Feb 1695 d. 13 Mar 1787). Mary died in North Yarmouth.

Jacob (b. 2 Jun 1693) and Mary had four children who died in 1737:
Simeon (d.12 Jul 1737), Daniel (d. 15 Jul 1737), Miriam (d. 29 Jul 1737) and Mary (d. 30 Jul 1737).

I am also looking for the burial places of Peter Weare (b. 16 Jun 1695) and Sarah Felt (b. 1701 d. 3 Jan 1768). Sarah died in North Yarmouth also.

Any assistance regarding old North Yarmouth cemeteries, local (not online) record keeping, you can render would be greatly appreciated.

According to this transcription, Captain Peter "Ware," who died 13 Apr. 1743, is buried in the "Old Burial Ground" in Yarmouth. I believe this is now called Pioneer Cemetery.

Ledge Cemetery was also in use in the 18th century. It's quite a bit larger, and is just down the road from Pioneer Cemetery.

Interesting to see your requests regarding Jacob Brown of North Yarmouth. My ancestry comes from Jacob Brown, Major in the American Revolution, (1720-about1789). The final resting places of these Browns seem to have been lost unfortunately. You will find Peter Weare's gravestone as well as the gravestone of two children in he Old Burying Ground. Peter Weare's house also remains standing in Yarmouth. Would be happy to share information with you about the Browns and Weares if interested.
