GREENWOOD—Mrs. Carrie (Netta) W. Cole, 79, died Thursday morning at the Andrews Nursing Home, South Paris, where she had been a patient for the past 10 days.
She was born in Greenwood March 15, 1902, the daughter of Elton L. and Mabel Morgan Dunham. She attended Rowe Hill School in Greenwood. She was married June 8, 1921 to Lester W. Cole, who is currently a patient at the Andrews Nursing Home. She had lived most of her married life in Greenwood Center. Mrs. Cole was a member of Franklin Grange in Bryant Pond.
Survivors include her husband of South Paris; two daughters, Miss Charlotte Cole, with whom she had made her home, and Mrs. Lillian Noyes of Wilton; four sons, Irving, Daniel and Burton, all of Greenwood Center, and Elwin of West Peru; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hinckley of South Bethel, Mrs. Gladys Jordan and Mrs. Vera Cross, both of Locke Mills; a brother, Edgar Dunham of Locke Mills; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Herschel, died Dec. 4, 1976.
