Deed: Anson Soule to Moses Dunham, 22 Nov. 1805


That I Anson Soul of Hartford in the County of Oxford and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Gentlman in consideration of the sum of the Sum Nine Hundred Dollars paid by Moses Dunham of Carver County of Plymauth Ma[ss?] the receipt wherof I do hereby acknowledge—do hereby give, grant, bargain and sell and convey unto the said him the Said Dunham his heirs and assigns forever A certain Lot of Land in Hartford County of Oxford aforesaid being Lot Number Eight in the Sixth Range of Lots in and said town containing one hundred and twenty five acres be the Same more or less

To have and to hold the aforegranted and bargained premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof to the said Moses Dunham his heirs and assigns, to their use and behoof forever. And I do covenant with the said Moses Dunham his heirs and assigns, that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises ; that they are free of all incumbrances ; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Moses Dunham to hold as aforesaid. And that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Moses Dunham his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

In witness whereof, I the said Anson Soul in my capacity have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty Second day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five
