Deed: Eleazer A. Morgan to Lydia A. Dunham, 4 Dec. 1875


Know all Men by these Presents, That

I Eleazer A. Morgan of Greenwood in the County of Oxford & State of Maine in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars, paid by Lydia A. Dunham of Woodstock in the County & State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Lydia A. Dunham her Heirs and assigns forever.

A certain lot of land Situated in said Greenwood being all the land described in a deed from Solomon S. Pingree to Daniel P. Bennett dated Sept 2d 1843 recorded with Oxford Records Book 68 page 459 being lot numbered eleven (11) in the ninth (9) range of lots in the North half of said Greenwood.

To have and to hold the aforegranted and bargained Premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof to the said Lydia A. Dunham her, Heirs and Assigns, to their use and behoof forever. And I do covenant with the said L. A. Dunham her Heirs and Assigns, that I am lawfully seized in fee of the Premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said L. A. Dunham to hold as aforesaid. And that I and my heirs shall and will Warrant and Defend the same to the said Lydia A. Dunham her Heirs and Assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

In Witness Whereof, I the said Eleazer A. Morgan and wife of the said in testimony of her relinquishment of her right of Dower in the above-described Premises have hereunto set our my hand and seal this fourth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy five
