GORHAM, N.H.—Hollis E. Coolidge, 82, died Thursday afternoon at his home, 46 Lancaster Road.
He was born June 1, 1879, at Upton, Maine, the son of John and Sybil Paine Coolidge. He was educated in Upton schools. He had resided in this community for the past 45 years, and was a retired farmer. Mrs. Coolidge died in August, 1948.
Surviving are a son, Stuart, Louden, N.H.; four daughters, Mrs. Madeline Fisher, Concord, N.H.; Mrs. Verna Potter and Miss Eleanor Coolidge, both of Gorham, and Mrs. Lois Shannon, Philadelphia, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
DIEDAt Gorham, N.H., Oct. 12, 1961, Hollis E. Coolidge, age 82. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 P.M. from his late home 46 Lancaster Road with Rev. Roderic W. Hurlburt, pastor of the Gorham Congregational Church officiating. Interment in the Lary Cemetery in the family lot. Arrangements are in charge of the Wilson Funeral Home, 5 Palmer St., Gorham, N. H.
