Lithobolia, or the Stone-Throwing Devil

I read the book by: The Devil of Great Island, by Emerson W. Baker.  It was a very good account a case of "Witch Craft" or poltergeits activity in the town of Great Island in 1682 and the tavern of George and Alice Walton.  The event was witnessed  Richard Chamberlain, the secretary of the colony of New Hampshire,  was boarding at the Walton tavern.  He kept a journal account of the incedent which he published in 1698. In his account he names the event Lithobolia and calls it the "Stone-Throwing Devil. Being an Exact and True Account (by way of Journal) of the various Actions of Infernal Spirits, or (Devils Incarnate) Witches, or both."  To read the full accout as it is written by Richard Chamberlain just click on this link, http://w3.salemstate.edu/~ebaker/chadweb/lithoweb.htm
