Welcome to the site, Patience. I'm not sure what you have on your Dunham ancestry, so I'll just give you what I have.

Buried together in Riverside Cemetery Annex in Paris, Maine, are Chester A. Dunham, 1888-1953; Muriel R. Dunham, 1894-1974; and Mary Russell Galpin, 1873-1956.

Chester Atwood Dunham, son of Caleb Davis and Sarah Maria (Atwood) Dunham, was born 18 Oct. 1888 in Boston, Mass. He married Muriel Russell Galpin, 21 Dec. 1917 in Springfield, Mass. Here's a short biography of Chester from a report on Harvard University's Class of 1911.

His father Caleb was born May 1855 in New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Joseph Oliver and Charlotte A. Dunham, and died 7 Apr. 1937 in Milford, Mass. He married 17 Sept. 1879 in Boston Sarah Maria Atwood, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Atwood, born Nov. 1858 in Mass.

Joseph Oliver Dunham was born June 1836 in Canada, and was living with wife Charlotte in Santa Cruz County, California, as late as 1900.

I am so excited to get this information! My brothers name is Caleb Davis Dunham. I am trying to learn as much about my father's side of the family. I never got to know my father so that side of the family is a blank. Thank you! Do you know if I have any relatives there and if so in what towm?

You're welcome! I don't know of any relatives of the family living in this area.

Are we related? Every time I hear the name Dunham I think we could be related.

It's possible, but probably not. Your Joseph Oliver Dunham is probably related in some way to this Joseph Oliver Dunham, who was evidently a descendant of a man named Jonathan Singletary who took the name Dunham in the mid 1600s and lived in Massachusetts and New Jersey. I'm descended from Deacon John Dunham of Plymouth, Mass.
