I assume that Harvey was the same who lived with parents Robert and Margaret in New Limerick in 1900. The family was living in Glenelg, Northumberland, New Brunswick in 1881.
The birth records of Harvey's siblings Angus and Arthur give their mother's maiden name as Margaret Stuart, and indicate that Robert was born at Point aux Carr, N.B., and Margaret at Napan, N.B.
There is information in this PDF file regarding Robert Russell and his first wife, Jane McKinnon.
Yes, I think "Ellen" must be Ella. The 1900 census says she was born Aug. 1879, which fits with her age in 1881. Frederick was born in Mar. 1882, so he wasn't yet born when the 1881 census was taken.
There was a son "Harry" in 1881, aged 6 years. That must have been Harvey.
If you look closely at the marriage record, at 1st glance it looks like Harry, but look closer and it is Harvey. Sometimes handwriting is hard to decifer.
Well i know that Harvey Russells father was Robert mother Margaret. Now heres the kicker Roberts father was Franis Russell and Mother was Ann they are mentioned in a book about the exploration of the Miramichi Valley. Both Margret stewart and her cousin were mentioned seems Rob was married to one cousin she dies and he marries margret. still can't find anything more than that on Francis Russell.
