The Maker family of Kennebec, Lincoln, and Knox Counties, Maine

I am looking for the parents (or brothers or sisters) of Eliza S. Maker (wife of John Chase), b. 4 Oct. 1816 & d. 20 Mar 1894. She had eleven children. She lived in St. George, Know County in her early years, and Hallowell/Chelsea the rest of her life. She is my great, great grandmother. Some on say her father was Jonathan Maker, the unmarried son of Jonathan Maker and Hannah Tennant of Knox County. Can't find any resource documenting that Eliza Maker even had any parents or even died. I got this information from my mother who passed in 1993, and have proved Eliza Maker's existence by a letter she wrote attempting to get a pension for her son, John M. Chase, who died in Baton Rouge, LA, on 20 Feb 1863 while fighting in the American Civil War. Please help!

Hi, I can't promise it's correct but John Chase lived right next to Benjamin Maker in 1840, in St. George and that Maker could "possibly" be the father of Eliza. The mother, Dorcas Maker, is shown living with John and Eliza Chase in the 1850 St. George Census, and shows her age as 63, which matches up with the adult female in the Benjamin Maker household of 1840 census. But I cannot find anything else. Good luck.
