I research Vilbon Boisvert married to Lodia Cote On january 1920 . He lived in Waterville, Maine. He was known as "uncle Bill"He came from Canada and started an oil business known today as "Bill's oil". I would like to know where he and his wife were buried. I believe he died around 1975 and his wife Lodia Cote around 1988. I'm not sure if they were buried in Waterville, I also heard the names of Lewiston, Augusta and Bangor when I grew up in Canada.

I would like to thank anyone who can help me in my quest.

Villebon Emile Boisvert died 1 Dec. 1975 in Chelsea, Maine. Here is his obituary. He was buried in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, as was his widow.

Hello Chris. I would like to know where I can get access to old Maine newspaper obituaries.

Is there a fee for this service? Which newspaper can I browse online ?

And I thank you again for the great info you provided earlier

Google has a few Maine newspapers to browse and search, including papers in Lewiston, Bangor and Biddeford. Ancestry.com and NewspaperArchive.com provide a few others, for a fee.

For recent obituaries, you can check the newspaper websites. Here, for example, is the obituary of one of Villebon's daughters, from 2010.
