I'm looking for a White School House Cemetery, In possibly Winthrop, Me. Here is a copy of an ancestor's death record and I am trying to find her burial place. Any Ideas?
I grew up in Winthrop, my father still lives there and I am only 15 miles away. I put it out there on fb today to see if anyone knows, if there are results I will let you know.
Yes try calling the historical society or the town/city hall they may have a list. Try also looking at the Library in geneaolgy witen by Benjamin Noyes. Dr, Noyes did a lot of genealogy's on people living in towns of maine. His concentration I beleive was people in Deet Isle, but I understand he also did surounding towns. Many of the people of Deer Isle had family members living in Barh and Winthrop is right there too. You sould be albe to view these books at the Library of Morman Center as they are not in circulation and you can't purchase them.
