Hi! I'm new to this site. I'm trying to do my Dalrymple line. I was wondering if you could help me? Jacob Dalrymple is my 5th great grandfather. My mother and I do have some information that we have found at public libraries. My father remembers a story of 4 brothers coming over from Scotland into Canada. He wants me to find out if its true orjust a story. Can you please help me?

Hi Ben, Ken Dicken- Clem A Hart's parents were both born in Maine.  Clem was married to Margaret C Hart (Jonas) around 1907.  I don't know his date of death but he was living in Washington Sate in the 1920 census.  Thank you Ben, Ken

Thank you, Ben, so vey much. He was actually born in 1762, in Prussia.  He came over with the British. He had a son born about 1790, Lewis II and he had a son, Lewis III, so maybe the grandson was born about 1852.  Thanks again for looking. Maybe it was such a quiet, out of the way town of Starks and when someone died no obit was written. Oh well. Thought I"d try to find something on him.

Sometimes, as in a census, his name was referred to as Lewis Skillin without the 'g'.
