Elizabeth Littlefield, wife of Lemuel Weeks Crabtree

Elizabeth Littlefield is said to have married Lemuel Weeks Crabtree 31 January 1805. Intentions were recorded 2 October 1804 in Gouldsboro, at which time Lemuel Crabtree was living in Sullivan. He is said to have been born in 1784 and to have died in 1837.

Hi D.B.,

I am researching my great great grandfather. He is George Littlefield, born abt 1800 perhaps in Bangor.

He lived in Mifflintown PA and my first record of him is the 1840 census.

He married Harriet A. abt 1832. She already had a daughter Ann b 1831.

Miscellaneous documentation indicated her maiden name may have been Schuyler and she might have been from Herkimer NY. However, I recently learned that one part of the Schuyler family changed their last name to Shute and moved to Frankfort ME.

Have you ever run across them?

thanks,

Bill
